Overview:

ONES Non-Alcoholic Wine is seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to independently oversee the production/management of our exceptional non-alcoholic wine products. This full-time position requires on-site presence in Summerland, B.C. The successful candidate should be physically capable of lifting up to 30 kg, and forklift certification is considered a valuable asset. For beverage operations in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) space, some knowledge of production and e-commerce is required.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Production:
      • Oversee the assessment and purchase of inputs required to make premium non-alcoholic wine.
      • Work with third parties in procurement and production.
  • Sales:
      • Use e-commerce tools and platforms to increase DTC sales
      • Manage and expand current wholesale sales network 
  • Supervision:
      • Manage a growing team including hiring
  • System Implementation:
      • Identify efficiencies and implement systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management:
      • Maintain accurate records of ONES Non-Alcoholic Wine inventory.
      • Conduct regular audits and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Order Processing and Shipping:
      • Independently supervise the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
      • Collaborate with shipping carriers to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
  • Administrative Tasks:
      • Handle paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
      • Generate and maintain reports on warehouse activities for management.
  • Work Independence:
      • Undertake the tasks and responsibilities without direct oversight.
      • Demonstrate self-reliance in managing warehouse operations.
  • Safety and Compliance:
      • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
      • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management capacity.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 kg and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.

Salary:

$25-$30 per hour depending on skills and experience
