How Many Calories Are in ONES Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine?

ONES Sparkling Red and Sparkling Rosé currently limit calories to 18 per glass.

They also contain 0 sugar, 0 carbohydrates and an ABV of only 0.5%.

As a matter of fact, the only ingredients in ONES sparkling wines are de-alcoholized wine, carbon dioxide, tannic acid, grape skin extract, citric acid, tartaric acid, sulphites and yeast extract.

 

How is Non-Alcoholic Wine Made?

Non-alcoholic wine, ONES included, is made the same way as alcoholic wine. But, before aging and bottling, it’s put through one extra step alcoholic wine isn’t; reverse osmosis. An alternative to vacuum distillation, the more common alcohol filtration method, reverse osmosis separates the alcoholic content via a light filter, leaving an ABV (Alcohol By Volume) of 0.5% plus the flavour and other main ingredients intact and of the best quality possible.

 

Isn’t 0.5% ABV Technically Alcoholic?

Technically, ONES does contain alcohol. However, our 0.5% ABV is legally classified as non-alcoholic. This was set because the body so quickly metabolizes the 0.5% that it absorbs no alcohol into your other systems, including your bloodstream.

Made from Okanagan-grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, when you sip on ONES Sparkling Red, your sense of smell will detect summery notes of blackberry and pomegranate. Meanwhile, your palate will take pleasure in bright acidity and medium tannin.

 

What Does ONES Sparkling Rosé Taste Like?

A quality BC combination of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Merlot and Syrah grapes, ONES Sparkling Rosé feeds the nose scents of strawberry and melon while the palate enjoys a bright acid yet lighter body than found in the Sparkling Red.

 

Does Non-Alcoholic Wine Count as Grape Juice?

No, despite both being made from naturally sweet grapes, non-alcoholic wine, especially ONES, does not taste like grape juice, nor does it go through the same production process.
